THE STORY BEHIND THE BOX
When i moved to China to study Hotel Management ,starting a children’s brand was nowhere in my plans.
I was studying full-time & wanted to earn extra some extra money for myself, so i started teaching English part-time.
Over the years, that grew into teaching both English & STEM, first alongside Univeristy and later full-time after i graduated. What began as a student job introduced me to a completely different world: how children respond when learning becomes something they can actually do. I noticed how the energy could change when a concept moved from explanation to experience. It made me think about my own schooling growing up, where much of my learning had been theory-based. We had practical subjects & occasional experiments, but there were fewer opportunities to explore lots of different activities individually or at your own pace.
That contrast stayed with me.
I started thinking about children who might also benefit from having more opportunities to touch, test, make& discover for themselves-not because every moment of play needs to become a lesson, but because curiosity is already one of the most natural ways children engage with the world.
That idea became Quai Kids.
